Michael Kamanda is the Founder and Lead Consultant of Core Nexus Ltd. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and brings over five years of financial management experience within the housing sector.

Having worked within and managed an organisation entirely dependent on charitable funding and grants, Michael understands the financial and operational challenges facing charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and social enterprises.
​
His professional experience includes preparing grant applications, managing restricted and grant-funded budgets, overseeing financial resources and reporting to funders. This background provides a practical understanding of funding requirements, financial accountability and the importance of developing credible, evidence-based proposals.

Michael's grant funding experience includes supporting Veterans Housing C.I.C in securing a £20,000 National Lottery Awards for All grant for the Veteran Wellbeing and Independence Project. This demonstrates his practical experience in developing evidence-based applications aligned with funder requirements.
